Silvertone 1484 rebuild. Tubes falling out. The head produces somewhere around 45 watts with a pair of 6L6 output tubes. It is an all tube head with tremolo and reverb. I feel disgusted to touch it. Two channels are provided each with two inputs so that they can be patched together for a combined sound. Channel one is normal while channel two offers a switchable reverb and tremolo. These are unassumingly a fairly labor intensive restoration, many 1484 owners are hesitant to spring for a full restoration, but h I have decided that regardless of all of this, the Silvertone would be my yearly Shango66 resurrection challenge, along with full restoration.
